Since I posted this, I've found out that Catherine may have been a RYAN first and possibly married to someone named Lewellen before she married James Pierce. It's all very confusing, but her son-in-law gave info for her death certificate and called her father "Johnie Ryan." Johnny Ryan Lewellen? Or was she a RYAN married to a Lewellen?

I saw a lot of Felix Lewellen information when I visited the MO archives in Jeff City.

My Catherine was probably born about 1845. Her daughter listed her on a SS application as "Kate Lewellen." If you come across her, I'd appreciate a holler. Thanks!
