Searching for elusive ancestral information of Charles Levings (also found spelled as Livens and Livins). Military records show Levings, family records show Livens, and one census record shows Livins... go figure.

Born 1840 in Ottawa IL, married to Eliza Ann Dake at Ft Atkinson WI in 1865, Died 1903 in Foreston MN. Charles and Eliza had seven children between 1865 and 1885: Charles Jr, Flavia, Effie, Martin, Julia, Grace an Henry.

Any ancestral info relating to Charles greatly appreciated.
