I am looking for information the Benj. F. Laviner or Leviner family in Randolph or Terrell County Georgia.
I have a B.F. Laviner of Co. K. 7th Regiment Georgia State Troops on October 21, 1861. Was also in Co. H., 55th Regiment Georgia Inf. Captured Cumberland Gap, Tennessee September 9, 1863. Released June 1865. Was born in Randolph County, Georgia in 1843.
Found Benj. F. Laviner, age 27, on 1870 Randolph County Georgia Census living with George and Amanda Edward.
LDS records show B.F. Laviner married Mathena Quick on November 5, 1884 in Terrell County, Georgia.
Mathena Quick is probably Parthena/Phina Quick born 1842 in Fayette County, Georgia. She is a sister to my great-grandfather.
