Johnny, My name is Dee Leviner. I have been researching the Leviner name for over a year. I have Marion & wife Dorothy Driggers with Harold, Harry, John, Paulette, & Sue. I didn't have Dan. Do you know any names for their spouses? and where they lived? Marion is listed as Rev. His parents were James Thomas Leviner & Molle Laird. Mollie is the second wife of James. First wife Evi was a Leviner before marriage. James was born in 1894. James parents were Jesse Clifton Leviner & Fannie Chavis. Jesse's parents were Thomas Leviner & Emmiline Bennett (Parker). I have been unable to find the parents of Thomas. I have several other Leviner men at this time who I can't find the parents of. I recently found a will dated 1802 for John Viner in Richmond County NC. The names of his children match names of Leviner children at that time. It seems that the Leviner name may have been listed as Viner back then.
There is a Leviner Family website at myfamily.com. Lots of info there. Please post what info you have about your family. We are trying to complete a tree of Leviners. It seems that every Leviner in the US comes from NC/SC roots.
