I am seeking information regarding George NEWLAND (and his wife Sarah LEVY), who is believed to have been known as George LEVI, prior to migrating to South Australia in 1850 with his daughter, Eliza, and wife, Sarah (formerly, LEVY). [Sarah later married John PATMORE, in Adelaide, South Australia, and had a further child, named Esau PATMORE, in 1857. Esau was later known as George MOUR.]
The couple had a daughter, Eliza NEWLAND, born 20 Dec 1845, in Ugley, Essex, England (she married George Albert CHOULES, 29 February 1864, in Adelaide, South Australia, and died there in 23 Apr 1938).
They are believed to have had another daughter in 1838, born in Wiltshire, England.
I have Eliza’s marriage and descendants reasonably well researched (see, http://members.ozemail.com.au/~montanet/Index.htm , though this needs updating). However, I am unable to proceed further back. Any assistance would be very much appreciated.
