Born in Ballinger, TX, 02-04-1927, son of Jesse Lee Lett and Faye Wilkinson. Jesse and Faye also had a daughter named LaRue Lett. Jesse's brother was Foster Lett who had a farm around Winters, TX. Weldon married Janette Harris in Abilene, TX and lived there with their three children (Brenda, David, Cynthia) for many years. Weldon died in February 1994 in Tucson, AZ. Jesse remarried later in Abilene so Weldon has step-brothers and sisters somewhere. In fact, when Jesse died no one called Weldon to let him know his father died, until after Jesse was buried. A friend of Weldon finally called him weeks later to let him know. What a disgrace!
