David Nolen on Genforum often puts information about the Musgrove family. The Newberry book was done by someone who only cared about himself. Much of it is incorrect.

Charles, James Jr., Peter and John all fought with the British. They are recorded in records of the Tories. Their father is listed as a Patriot Soldier in the DAR books and you would be eligible to join on James Lester, Sr. Just did not want you to spin your wheels on the Newberry book you referenced.

Type Charles onto the left on Genforum and you will see post by other descendants of Charles. David Nolen is the best researcher of Charles I know of. Robert Stevens of South Carolina is an authority on the Musgroves. If I can answer any of your questions, you can write me direct and I will try to help you. Marlenewall@mindspring.com
