I am looking for descendants of Senator James S. Lester of Bastrop and Gonzales during the Republic of Texas that met on October 3, 1836 in Columbia, Texas. We are dedicating a beautiful park with 20 historical stations, native plants and walking path to the history that happened at that time in Texas. Would love to have descendants of James S. Lester to attend the dedication of the "Capitol of Texas Park - A Walk through the Birth of Texas" on April 17, 2009 at 2 p.m. Contact tissie@quikheal.com for more information
