There is a Jacob Lesser who made a declaration for naturalization in Nov. 1834, in Warren County, PA. Warren County is just north of Titusville - also, at one time the area of Warren County was part of Venango County, which is the county were Titusville is located.

I am researching Alsatians in an attempt to find more information about my ancestors - many of the Alsatians who came to the United States were related.
