Doreen,

I too am looking for information about Marie Lesperance who was married to Louison Laferte. They are my GGgrandparents on my mothers side. There is a family tree that was put together for the decendants of Louison and Marie. If you could send me the information on these two I too would greatly appreciate it.
Louison was born in 1822 at Fort Resolution, NWT. His father(b. 1800, NWT) was Pierre and mother Marie or Mary Anne Generoux/Genrious depending on who was writing the spelling it is different. My mother who is Christine (Augustine)Balsillie nee Laferte. Her father was Jean Baptiste Laferte he married Adele Bighead. Jean Baptiste parents were Henri (Lagas) Laferte and he was married to Catherine Bouvier. Henri's parents were Louison and Marie.
If you could shed some light on these two I would be very happy to say the least.

Clay.
