Hi Denise,

I am a Talon dit L'Esperance descendant. I have been doing extensive research and have come across a gravesite in Swanton that I beleive is Augustin Marcellin Talon dit L'Esperance. The gravestone says "Marcel Lesperance 11/1/1806" and the church record shows he dies in 1873. I know that the family records in St. Athanase lists his children as "The family of Marcel Talon L'Esperance" so he probabl went by Marcel, as did the next four generations. Would you happen to know his birth date?
