Here is an article about your family. I did a cut-&-paste from ancestry.com. It seems that your "Maria Ocenin" was "Marie-Marguerite Aucoin". I believe that the rest of the lineage of the Bonami dit Lesperance family has been researched all the way back to Avignon, France. Enjoy.

The second child of Pierre Bonami dit Lesperance and Marguerite Aucoin was Joseph. I don't know when he was born. Joseph's son, Pierre, born about 1838, joined his uncle in New Mexico in 1857. The boy came in 1857, and although he was very large even at 18 he was henceforth called "Pedrito" (little Pierre), both as a joke and to distinguish him from his uncle."
