Just out of curiosity...how can Pierre L'Esperance be Jerry's great, great grandfather if Pierre had no children, as stated in his text?
My great grandfather was Pierre's nephew, who came to live with him. One of his son's, Jose Maria L'Esperance, was my grandfather. His youngest child, Josephine L'Esperance Baca, was my mother. She recently passed away (August, 2004) at age 81, in Colorado. My mother and her siblings are children from Jose Maria's second marriage,to Placida Archuleta.Josephine's siblings names:Cayetano, Constancia, Juanita and Louisita. All lived in Colorado.Only Luisita is living, at age 92.The children from Jose Maria's first marriage were Enrique and Chanita.
I'm interested in hearing from any L'Esperance relatives.Am particularly interested in our relatives in Canada!
