There is a Lesar connection in my family, also in South Africa:
Hendrik Lesar (occupation: hotelkeeper) born Capetown, SA ca1803, married Dorothea Sterrenberg ca 1828. Known children are Maria Rosina b 3.11.1829 and Dorothea b unknown.
Both girls migrated to Western Australia. Maria (Thorley)in approx 1857-1859, Dorothea (Quninn)before 1880.
