My Gt-Gt-Grandfather was Gabriel Armand Lesage. He was born om 2 March 1806 at Pirmasens in Bavaria. He served with the 1er Regiment de Cuirassiers in the Garde Royale from 1824 until 1830 when he changed to the 23 eme Legion of ‘La Gendarmerie Imperial’ (Compagnie des Ardennes). He was the son of Armand Lesage and Catherine Rosenfelder. On 31st January 1837 he married Anne Emelie Simon at Sezanne in the Marne region of France. Their son was Theophile Gabriel Lesage; born 24 September 1844 at Sedan in the Ardennes. His daughter was my Grandmother. I have no other details but these. If anyone out there can make a connection I would be obliged
