William Learoyd (Le Roy) born Linfield, Sussex 1700s

My ancestor: William Learoyd (Le Roy)
Born: (between)1762-1774 Linfield, Sussex England (he gave different ages every few years).
Married: 1795 Huddersfield, Yorkshire to Sarah Jennet. Died: Huddersfield, Yorkshire in 1848.
Occupation in 1795 'Yeoman'(farmer of over 100 acres).Later fancy cloth manufacturer.
Moved to Yorkshire when a child. His father may have been John Le Roy. Apparantly 'Learoyd' is an Anglicised form of Le Roy. I am trying to find his parents.
Is anyone tracing this line or have ancestors from these area(s)?. Can anyone confirm that the Le Roys who went to Yorkshire became Learoyds?
