Son of Anastasia Leroux and Alexander Blais
Mr. Gaëtan Blais passed away, peacefully, on Friday, February 22nd, 2008, at his home in Hawkesbury. He was 94. Born in Casselman, he resided in Alexandria for many years. He is survived by his wife, Éliane Martin, and his children, Jacqueline (George Kovari), Gilles (Caroline Burger), Gabrielle (Jean-Luc Legros), Bernadette (Robert Pelletier) and Gaëtanne (Pascal Leblond). He was also a devoted grand-father to his nine grand-children. Friends may call at Berthiaume Funeral Home Ltd. 416, McGill Street, Hawkesbury, Ontario (877) 632-8511 Sunday, February 24th, 2008 from 7 to 10 p.m. A funeral service will be held at Ascension de Notre-Seigneur Church in Hawkesbury(Ontario) on Monday, February 25th, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. Interment at Ste-Euphémie’s cemetery in Casselman (Ontario) at a later date.
