My wife, Shirley, is from B.C. Canada and was born in an area originally named Huscroft as her father came into Canada as a boy on covered wagon and finally raft from Utah. He was born in Sandy, Utah, but his father originally came from England and took part in the famous Mormon trek across United States from Illinois to Salt Lake City. That man, William Roger Huscroft, finally settled in Canada just over the border from the Idaho panhandle. He, with hissons, opened up the country in the Kootenay Valley of B.C. and is known as an early pioneer here. The family's roots are in England where I found them in London in the 1941 British Census. From there, is the question, as William Roger apparently lost both his parents and other members of his family when he was about three years. It is going to be a long search -- Graham Edis
