Hello list,
I have a book on the genealogy of the inhabitants of the Bischmisheim area of Germany before 1900 and found several people in the book with last name of LEONHARD. I will post the info in hopes that it will help someone out there researching this line.

LEONHARD, Christian Carl; occ:Schoolteacher
He was b.10 Feb 1811 in Rhaunen; He was son of Phillip LEONHARD (also a schoolteacher) and Juliana Elisabeth GOTZ, from Bollenbach. Christian died 12 March 1881 in Bischmisheim.
He married Sophia KUNTZ on 03 Oct 1843 in Bischmisheim. She was born 10 March 1821 in Bischmisheim; d. 03 March 1899 in Saarbrucken.
