Manwaring LEONARD b.ca.1780-1790
Has ANYbody out there ever come across the first name of Manwaring among their LEONARD families??
I have hit a brick wall with:
1830 census, Boone Co.,MO Manwaring LEONARD.
He owned no property according to census; left NO will; I cannot even find where he was buried, or his wife's name! The names of some of his children(?) remain in Boone Co. records, including a daughter(?) age matches 1830 census info (girl 5-10 years old) who married in 1838 into my WESTLAKE family.Later censuses give her birthplace as PA!Manwaring is NOT found on the 1840 census.

I'm grabbing at straws at this point! For such an unusual first name, he certainly is proving to be elusive!Judy
