Is GARDNER part of this mix?
I genetically match to a GARDINER and I am not a GARDINER, but I am desc fr MOORE & LEONARD.
William "General" MOORE m Hannah CROCKER, and they moved to Rochester NY fr Litchfield CT via Westport, Essex Co NY.
Their children were Laura, Samuel W.D., Elbridge, Frances W. and William Henry MOORE.

Laura m William NEWTON, moved to Defiance OH.

Samuel W.D. m Mary GILBERT, and Emily BENNETT. He was b 1806 New London CT, d 1870 Rochester. Children of Saml + Mary: J.Gilbert MOORE and William D. MOORE.
Sam'l was Chief of Police, then Mayor of Rochester.

Elbridge b CT d 1900.

Frances m Ira George LEONARD, son of George LEONARD & Olive SEGAR. (I have lots more info in interested)

William Henry m Rebecca Ann LEONARD, sister of Frances's husband Ira.
