The Ohio LEONARDs are connected to the western NY LEONARDs. I don't have all the details but Doty HUDSON (some sites show him as Duty Hudson) 1803/4- 1877) m. Emeline LEONARD (1808-1850),They had 5 known children, b OH and IL.Emeline LEONARD was dau. of George LEONARD (1776-1833) + Olive SEGAR. The LEONARDs lived in the area of Rochester, Monroe NY and nearby Batavia, Genessee NY. I think one of Emeline's daughters came to live w her g'mother Olive LEONARD after Emeline's death. Olive d. 1855. Contact me if you need more...Emeline was b VT before the family moved to NY
