Hi William, That looks promising, however there's some mistakes in the information.John was a Printer with the Cincinnati Gazette , not a Painter. The Dr. living with invalid Aaron was his son-in-law Dr. Samuel Crew who married his daughter Fanny. Jesse Ellis WAS the Brother of John Samuel Ellis. Henry Ellis was the son of John Samuel Ellis.Mary Perrine was the mother of Elizabeth, Aarons wife. Mary was Mary Polly Kain a pioneer of Ohio. Jesse Ellis married Mary Kain,I suppose a relative of Elizabeth and Mary Polly.
Leonards were all born in Ohio. They were a very prominate family along with the Perrines Kains and Hulicks. The names are wrong in places, what a mess. It must be the penmanship of the census takers? Thank you for finding that tidbit for me. I will see what I can find to verify that the line continues, I hope Henry/Harvey had issue of a bunch of Sons! LOL Nancy
