I am seeking info about the LEONARDs who were born in VT and moved to Western NY. The siblings were Hiram b. 1809, Rebecca b. 1820, Mary Jane b. 1823 (m. John THOMPSON),Ira G. b. 1830, Elsie Elizabeth b. 1819, George b. 1825 and perhaps Alonzo. Their mother was Olive (daughter of DARLING or SEAGER and father was George? Hiram was a Brigadier General, U.S. Army Civil War, and is buried in San Francisco, and several are buried in Rochester Monroe NY. Where did they live in VT? and who were their ancestors? Benjamin Franklin LEONARD lived next door to part of the family in Rochester and may be another sibling or relative.
