Edward Leonard was my GG Grandfather, born ~1840 who married Bridget McKevitt in Liverpool in 1863. His father is given on his marriage certificate as Nicholas Leonard, a shoemaker. Edward was a tailor. He died in Liverpool in 1897. Census returns say he was born in Ireland but I can find no obvious record of his birth there.
Can anybody help please?
