Hi, David--hope I as a novice at the Internet am doing thisright.I find two Noahs in the first 5 gen. of James 1.They are both in the 5th generation---pg. 166--Noah 499 b. dec. 9 1786and d. june 18, 1818. )presumably unmarried (see Columbia Sentinel Issue June 31, 1818) His leonard lineage is Noah 6, Joseph 5 of Middleboro who m. may 7 1752 Abagail Raymond,He was a lt. in Rev. Militia; Joseph 4; Elkanah 3.; Thomas 2; James 1--these were all Ironmongers."Where you see a forge there you will find a Leonard".--the second Noah which I find is NOAH 534.b. 1754--died 1845? He married Dec. 13 1787 (You can check the Richmond gen. there) their m/ date prob. means published.wife MEHITABLE RICHMOND, dau. of Isaac and Mehitable (Richmond) Richmond. They removed to Augusta, Oneida County, N.Y. where they died--I will try to get their children for you(6th Generation). This Richmond line is good and fascinating--all the URichmond men were burly and hugely tall.also if I have your line correct the Richmond who m. a Williams --she a dau/ of Richard William and Hon. Frances Deighton-Frances and her other two sisters (all in America)had njumerous notable descendants such as Douglas McArthur and Aruthur Schlisinger. They goup thru their mother Jane Bassett of Uley Manor and thus thru the Lygons to Margaret Plantagenet and then on to you know who et al--William the Conqueror--This is a proven line.Good hunting--NancyI hope some of this helps.Isn't it wonderful fun?????
