Charlene, I am not related to the Leon family, but your query strikes a chord. I am searching for the date of death, burial location, and regimental information for Arthur J. Leon a Confederate Civil War soldier. He was living in Trenton, New Jersey according to the 1890 Veterans Census. The fact that you mention North Carolina (a Confederate State), and Philadelphia (near Trenton) is interesting. Maybe we are looking for the same man? Bob
