I recently found that my ggfather John Lenz is from the Kaunerberg area in Tirol, Austria. His parents are Alois Lenz and Cordula Spaiser. Alois's parents are Josef Lenz and Katharina Krischner. I think Alois was born in 1808 and Josef in 1774. Josef's parents are Anlon Lenz (b 1737)and Kunigunde Launer. Anlon's parents are Mathias (born ?) Lenz and Catharina Trencher. I know allmost nothing else about these ancestors of John (who came to the US in about 1885, was a stone mason and lived in LaCrosse, WI. Any additional information about these people would be greatly appreciated.
