He wed Maggie Monroe Miller, daughter of Lutheran Rev. Martin Monroe Miller, of the Old Dutch Church, Rural Hall, N.C., born Rowan Co., N.C., Sept. 18, 1833. He was the brother of my Capt. Alfred Alexander Miller, CSA, who's son Rev. John Abner Locke Miller (wife Mrs. Mary Ann Pinkston Miller) was also pastor of that church. Rev. Locke Miller's grandson, James A. Miller, Sr., was a communicant at that church in the 1980's, when I donated a brass plate listing the 50 ministers of that historic church in dad's, and the two Revs. Miller's memories. I was then a mechanic with Piedmont Airlines, then USAir, and finally US Airways. Maggie's descendant Mr. Lentz, was mayor of Winston-Salem? Jim
