Oliver Perry Lent was a cousin to my ancestor Anna Rebecca Lent. Oliver Perry Lent was son of Abraham Lent. Oliver was born in Marietta, Ohio, their family moved to Virginia. Then he married Martha Buckley before traveling to Oregon. My ancestor was a daughter of William Lent and Elizabeth Sidwell of Morgan County, Ohio. William was a brother of Abraham Lent. I believe they were sons of Leben Lent of Ohio. My ancestor Anna married James Henry Willis. They traveled to live near her brother Joseph Lent and cousin Oliver Lent in the Lents District, in the Portland area of Oregon, near Oliver's DLC. She passed away 3 weeks after arriving in Oregon, and is buried at the Multnomah Park Cemetery in the Lents District on Oliver Perry Lent's Donation Land Claim. I have been in touch with a couple of Oliver's descendants in the Portland area.
