My wife is descended from the Philadelphia LeNoirs. George LeNoir was one of nine brothers born to Francis and Mary LeNoir who lived in the block behind Old Swedes' Church in the Southwark section of Philadelphia. Francis emmigrated from France in the early 1800s; he made his declaration of intention to become a naturalized citizen in 1811. I haven't pursued Angeline's ancestry.

I have lots of Census records for the Philadelphia LeNoir family. Also, the "Happy Valley" book mentioned on this board includes some material on Francis and Mary LeNoir and their nine sons. I have a photocopy.

Please let me know if you are still looking for this information.
