I am interested in the MacLaren maiden name. My ggrandfather was Robert MacLaren Lennox. I believe he was from Clackmannanshire, Scotland, but he married Johanna Egan, and she was Irish. They lived in Hartford, CT, after he came to the US in 1859. Their daughter, my grandmother, was Belle Lennox. Robert lived into his nineties.
If he is from the family I think he is, he had brothers John, James and Walter, and sisters Elizabeth and Janet. I think Robert's mother was Janet Haitley.
