I don't know if McLennon was shortened to Lennon but there isn't a McLennon board so I will post this here. I came across this bit of info and thought someone may be interested.

Myrtle McLennon, aged 4 years, daughter of Laura McLennon, a colored woman, died at Waco. The child's clothes ignited while she was warming her hands at the fire place, and before she could be rescued the little child had suffered fatal injury.
