James & Mary Lennon, Ireland > Outagamie Co WI.

I'd appreciate seeing any documentation that can corroborate, correct or add to what's shown below.

James Lennon was born around 1796 in Ireland, died in 1867 and is buried at Freedom, Outagamie County, Wisconsin. He appears to have brought part of his family to this country around 1849 and the rest to Outagamie County in 1852. He married Mary, b in Ireland around 1805. There may have been other children besides these:

a) James Lennon b ca 1835 in Ireland, m Catherine Bellew in 1855. Civil War soldier. (A 2nd Lt James Lennon served in Co H, 12th Wisconsin Inf.) Justice of Peace at Appleton WI. Children: Mary A. born in 1856; Maggie 1858; Rose 1860; James 1862; John H. 1866; George E. 1868; William P. 1870; Catherine S. 1872; (Lallie?, Callie?) M. 1874; Lizzie L. 1876; Frank M. 1879.

b) Patrick Lennon b ca 1836 in Ireland, m Johanna b ca 1842. One Patrick Lennon ran for sheriff of Outagamie Co in 1880; served also as country treasurer. The name Patrick Lennon appears as a private in Co H, 10th WI Inf, during the Civil War.

possibly c) Anna Lennon, b Mar 1838 Ireland, according to the 1900 census (39 in 1880). Married John Williamson/Willemsen.

d) Michael Lennon b ca 1842 Ireland, d 1862.

possibly e) Catherine Lennon, b ca 1846 reportedly in County Westmeath, Ireland, d 1904, m Patrick McLaughlin. They were living next door to James Lennon (Jr.) at Freedom in 1870.
