I am the granddaughter of Euel Whitfield Leneave and Jane Mershon. After an extensive lead me to realize that Euel did not marry Mary but.. married Jane Mershon the daughter of of Elias Truitt Mershon a direct decendent of Henri Mershon(Marchand) born in Normandy, France in 1672. Fascinating family the Mershon's. If I can be of help I have the family history of Euel and Jane.
