I'm not quite sure if we're talking about the same person or not, but I have a Great (x4) Aunt named Genevieve Hus Lemoine who lived in the Sorel area. I don't have any details on her marriage, but she was born in 1802 and passed away in 1870. That puts her in the right time period. If you have her birth or death dates and they match up with the ones I have, we may have the same person. Just in case, here's the family tree up to Paul Hus from Genevieve:
