My father was, Thear L. Lemoine DOB 3/31/1898. His father was Pierre Edgar Lemoine DOB 3/5/1847. His was Pierre Zenon Lemoine DOB circa 1825. His father Zenon Lemoine, born Mansura,La. 27 June 1802. His was Pierre Lemoine DOB 2/April 1766 born in Pointe Coupee Par La., married Lucille Bordelon 24 Oct 1773. Pierre's father was Jean Baptiste Lemoine born Point Coupee Par. La. 24 Sept 1741. His father was Guillaume Lemoine, dit Normandy 1699 (?). at La Havre de Grace, France. He married Marie Sanmerine Dite L'Este 4 April 1725. They both died in Pointe Coupee Parish, he on 8 Aug 1771 and she on 15 Nov 1741. I knew that Jacques was the father of Guillaume, but had no dates or other info on him. It would definately seem that our lines cross. I was born in Lafayette, Louisiana on April 8, 1944, being the youngest of 6 children. I have been away from Louisiana for more than 20 Years, so I have lost contact with most of my extended family. Where do you fit? Do you live in La. and can you fill in any gaps for me?
