Letitia Jane Lemley's father was Reuben Lemley (born 1806 fairfield SC) Mother Was Martha Hornbuckle( born 1806 in SC) Married abt. 1826. brothers William, Reuben Jr,. Grandfather was John Lemley Sr. and Priscilla Kennamer.(See kennamer Web page)

Letitia's father was buried at Butler's Mill Marshall county Alabama. No head stone. Either near or on his property. Family legend says he hid Martha in the mountains during "Trail of Tears" as she was part Cherokee Indian. I am going to try to get pictures of this area.
