Hi Candice,
I tried posting a response to you a couple of days ago but I must have accidentally deleted it. At any rate, I have since found a good deal more information about David Lemley and his family. David married, as his second wife, my grandfather's sister, Julia Bebee Hersey. I just realized this week that Ezra had a sister named Julia after finding the family in the 1870 census. I will post here what I have found so far. I would like very much to be in contact with this family.

I am looking for information on the family of David B. LEMLEY. He was born about 1849 in Greene County, PA. He lived for a time in Cherokee County, KS and in New England. According to a death notice in a Kansas newspaper David B. LEMLEY died in Mansfield, Tioga County, PA on March 16, 1921. I do not know if he had a family or not. Any help is appreciated. I would especially like to locate an obituary for him. I am happy to exchange information if I can be of any help in return. Thank you! --Candice Buchanan,

LEMLEY, David B., was born at Waynesburg, Penn., in 1849. After attending the public schools he entered the Waynesburg College, where he prosecuted his studies for two years. He then engaged in farming in Illinois, but finding this occupation uncongenial he came to Saylesville in 1872 and engaged with W. F. & F. C. Sayles at the bleaching and dye works. He perfected himself in this business and in 1883 was appointed foreman of the tentering and finishing departments in the new bleachery, which position he now fills. Mr. Lemley is a member of the Odd Fellows. In politics he is an independent. He was married to Julia Hersey of Lincoln in 1885, by wh[ich] union there are two children.
