Ms. Marquis, I'm am going to be of little help to your search, but in 1948 and 49 while attending the Cincinnati Conservatory of Music, I dated a girl named June Lemke, from near Buffalo or Rochester, NY. She was a talented soprano and I met her parents once but can only remember that her mother succumbed to stomach cancer in 1949. June went to New York City where my roommate said he met her waitressing at Schraffts restuarant. So she may have been continuing her vocal training at one of the NYC schools.
Have not heard of her since. June was blond, about five foot seven inches, quite attractive. Sincerely, John Weaver
