While searching for some of the Lemire's in my family tree, I came across one Lemire in the military on a web site for the Canadian Veterans Affairs.:
Joseph Richard Lemire, Sgt. in the Canadian Provost Corps. Son of Raoul and Maria D. Lemire of Wotton, QC. He died in combat on 16 Dec. 1942. No other info, but trying to get some since he is part of my family tree.
