Looking for ancestors and descendants of Edward Lamere (Lamire) b abt. 1842 in Fr Quebec, CAN He m. Rosa Lee Parent 23 May 1869 in Hudson, St. Croix, WI. She was b abt. 1852 in MN. Edward’s military service; 1865, Pvt., Co. F, 25th Regt, WI Infantry, served four months in Andersonville Prison; Occupation in 1880, farmer; Residence: 01 Jun 1905, Somerset, St. Croix, WI. Their children: (1) Amable Lamere, b. 08 Feb 1884 in WI; d. 11 Oct 1968; (2) Isaac Lamere, b. abt. 1889 in WI; (3) Gasper Lamere, b. abt. 1893 in WI
