I am like minded, I believe all Lemerys are related somewhere. There are too few of us not to be. Where in North Dakota is the farm your father settled? My great grandfather David J Lemery and his wife Emily settled in Inkster. Are you anywhere near there? I am Patricia's sister. I read all letters with interest but do not always post messages or write followups. Your message about North Dakota interested me though. I often think that people do not move places alone they go with fathers, brothers etc. For example when my grandfather moved from Inkster to Canada other family members went with him. That is where the confusion comes in because we start talking then of uncles, cousins etc. and the lines get blurred and we lose connections. If you have any interest, the cabin that my relatives lived in should still be in Inkster and so are the graves of the family. They did marry close neighbours and some of those relatives are also buried in Inkster. Take a trip, have a look and see if any match your info. Have fun.
