Seeking info on my GGGgrandfather Pierre Lemay dit Delorme [c1773-1853]. Anxious to know who his siblings, parents and paternal grandparents were.
He was a voyageur and accompanied Sir Alexander Mackenzie on his 1789 trip to the Arctic Ocean and wintered with David Thompson at the junction of the Smoky and Peace Rivers in 1803-4. Looks like he also worked for the NWC and HBC in various boatman capacities and as a guide.
