I agree with you that there were these two men, both named Thomas Lemasters, who were of the same generation and that some of the people hwo have posted on World Connect have tried to make both Alieda Dallas and Catherine Thornton wives of just one Thomas. I agree with you that they are erring and need to check their facts (e.g., census records show the distinct residences in Tyler and Mason Counties).

I disagree with you, however, that your Thomas, husband of Alieda, was the son of Isaac and Ann ("Nancy") Lemasters. I believe Thomas the "scout" was their son (and thus brother of the Benjamin and Joseph who were also both Revolutionary War soldiers).
