According to Hutchings and Buehler, "A Sebastian benoit, sone of Francois Benoit and Anne L'OFFICIAL and originates from the Bra O'dor lakes area of Cape Breton Island." They land in NF. Steven A. White confirms Anne's mother is
Mi'kmaq in Stride 339.

Check with him (whoever you are! Your limited posts lead me to believe you are one of three people.)

Marguerite is Sebastien's daughter. She is my gggrandmother. She marries a LeBlanc (whose grandmother mother was Anne Judith Mius and was also a descendant of Anne Marie) ands ends up in Massachusetts.

This is my family! They originated in Bras D'or.

Call them Jackylars, or Jacotars or French Jacquotard.
Call them Mi'kmaq or Meti or whatever you choose.

They were all the offspring of mixed French-Micmac marriages.

Sue
