Eric:

When I remarked that Lucie's comments were "well said," I was referring to her saying that people are better off working together rather than pointing fingers. So calm down.

Secondly, for the record, I only have TWO Lejeunes in my family tree: the sisters Edmee and Catherine. That's it. The name Pierre Lejeune -- the supposed brother of Edmee and Catherine -- does not appear in any of my lines. As for their supposed father, Pierre, I do not put him in my family tree, as trusted Acadian genealogists like Stephen A. White and Denis Boudreau have clearly stated that their parents are unknown. There's no evidence that their father's name was Pierre. All we know for certain is that DNA has proven Edmee and Catherine Lejeune to be of European parentage.

As for the Pierre Lejeune you mention, he may very well have married an Indian. I don't know. As he is not in my Family Tree, I haven't taken the time to investigate his marriage/parentage. So if you say he married an Indian and you can prove it, all the more power to you.
