According to White's Dictionnaire, Marguerite LeJeune (n.v.1710) who married Martin Grand-Claude is the daughter of Francois JOSEPH dit LeJEUNE (n.v.1682) and Marie EGIGHIGHE (amerindienne).Francois is the son of Francois JOSEPH (amerindien n.v.1648) and Jeanne LeJEUNE dit BRIARD (n.v.1651, d.after 1708 census).Jeanne later married (v.1694) Jean GAUDET (his third marriage).
White also reports (and denies) Godbout's speculation that this Jeanne LeJEUNE is sister to Pierre and Martin LeJEUNE. His dismissal of the link is based on the lack of a dispensation for a marriage between their descendents that would have required one.White has no other suggestion for what family she might belong to, but I note that she had daughters named Edmee and Catherine, which *suggests* a link with them.
Francois JOSEPH =(v.1673) Jeanne LeJEUNE dit BRIARD
1. Edmee (dit LeJEUNE)
2. Jean
3. Cecile (dit LeJEUNE)
4. Francois (dit LeJEUNE)
5. Anne
6. Catherine (dit LeJEUNE)
Francois JOSEPH dit LeJEUNE =(v.1709) Marie EGIGHIGHE
1. Marguerite
(And to clarify the relations a bit, White also denies that Pierre and Martin's father (also Pierre) is brother to Edmee and Catherine LeJEUNE, based on lots of lacking dispensations.Edmee/Aimee and Catherine are sisters, based again on dispensations.)
