Hi Laura and others,

I have been interested in the identity of Jane Young, wife of John King for awhile now. I believe she belongs to the line of Gabriel Young (ca 1775) & Sarah Riley.

My reasons for placing her there come from looking at the baptismal records of her children. The sponsors come from Gabriel’s family. Gabriel’s wife Sarah Riley married Michael Coakley after the death of Gabriel.

Gabriel and Sarah had a daughter Sarah Young who married Charles Cook.

Gabriel and Sarah’s son Edward Young had a daughter Emelia who married William Barrie. (My g-great grandparents)
