I thought it was in the registers but a quick look did not turn up anything.

They were married in the Bay St-George/Sandy Point area of Newfoundland circa 1864-65, as Zelie's family was all living there at the time. It is possible that they could be the following couple from the registers:

Dec 01, 1865 Sandy Point, NF
Francois LeJeune
Rosalie Cormier d/o Isidore & Madeleine Vigneau

This couple seems to fit the latest info I have researched on the family. He could have been named Jean-Francois; and Rosalie could have shortened her name to simply Zelie.

Their son, married to Annie Deveau, gave his birth as 1865 in Newfoundland, in the 1901 census. We all know, census records can be a year or so off the mark. I have found no birth record yet to substantiate this fact. Stephen White agrees that Jean was the great-grandson or grandson of Jacques & Catherine Josseaume, yet his father and grandfather's names remain unknown. We do not know how he descends from Jacques and Catherine, but based on approximate dates, does so in the male line.
